[MOL] meditation



Hi,
I don't consider myself to be an expert on this, but I'll search for the
list of sites I've run across on it.  I am sorry to say I didn't meditate
at all while I was away on vacation.  Now that I'm back, though, I want
to get back to the meditation, exercise, and eating healthier.  I'll let
you know how it goes.  Last night, I put together menus for the week and
today I bought the food - lots of fresh fruits & veggies.  Tonight I made
green pepper steak and it tasted pretty good, even though my cornstarch
didn't work as well as I'd like so my sauce didn't thicken up enough. 
I'm going to start relying solely on the Betty Crocker cookbook and the
homemade cookbook Tom's mother gave us.  I bought more blueberries and
they are delicious.  I snacked on some while I was preparing dinner.  

Anyway, I'll try to find those meditation sites & send them around again.
 As Marty will tell you, though, meditation is basically just focusing on
your breathing and clearing your mind.  There are, of course, variations
- but I think keeping it simple is pretty relaxing.  I'll get together
the book titles on it, too.  One of the books, though, is The Relaxation
Response.  I have yet to read this book, but my psychiatrist recommended
it to me.
