My mother had surgery for oat cell carcenoma and chemotherapy 12 yrs ago and
had been fine until last summer.  At that time she was diagnosed with basal
cell carcinoma and had surgery on the other lung.  Now, 11 months later, she
is undergoing 7 weeks of radiation because there is a spread with interferes
with breathing.  It finishes today, but she feels no difference (she is 83).

Does this mean it may be in the trachea?  What are the options? Any
suggestions?
Thank you. Joan Rubinstein
