Dear Jenny
Thank you for coming to our discussion forum. You will find many here
who are knowledgable, willing and loving and will provide you with much
information or at least suggestions where you can find some answers to
your questions.
My wife also had a carcinoma of an unkown primary. The only clinic that
has a research and medical opinion about this rare disease is MD
Anderson in TExas. 1-800-345-6324. I believe at that time when Barb was
diagnosed that Dr. Abruzzesse was the head onocologist. That may have
changed.
For much more information about the disease pls call the National Cancer
Institute at 1-800-4cancer and they will provide you with written
information about the disease, various types of treatments and side
effects and pls ask them to provide you with names of comprehensive
hospitals in your area to seek 2nd opinions.
Pls do come back and ask whatever else you may need to know. Good Luck
and God Bless
