Oh Cindy,
I am so sorry. As you know my Don has sclc too. And I know I'll be going
down that same path as you two are facing now. Please, Please, keep in touch
with me, I'm like you are I like to know everything up front, maybe you could
help prepare me for those darkest hours. I'm so sorry you two have to go
through all this. How advanced was his when you found out? And when did you
find out? I did like you done and researched and found our journey was
leading down a dark tunnel, I know there's no hope for long survival, our
pulmonary Doctor told us the most that he would have is maybe two years, and
that is if treatments put the cancer into remission, he also told us there was
nothing that would help much after it came back active. I just hope and pray
that your Jim and my Don do not have to suffer great pain for very long.
Enjoy every minute you can with each other, I will be thinking of you both,
and will keep you in my prayers. Cindy, God bless you and keep you strong for
Jim and your family.
Your sincere friend,
Nancy
