Liz, these are all great questions, and since each case is different,
I'd check with your dr. He should definitely be able to give you some
answers on your situation. Tubes generally come out within days; the
discomfort will last longer, and it will be important to do the
exercises they will give you. The discomfort is not just from the
position, but because they have been in ther messing with muscles and
nerves and all kinds of stuff. So hang in there and be patient -- and
