Hi:
I didn't get a chance to see your email until today. I am hoping for you that you continue with the can't find diagnosis. Smile. Have a nice day.
Your friend June

Hi, June, Jeanne here. I don't know your history on MOL either...its hard
to keep everybody straight (other than the regulars) isn't it. I'm glad
that Ross has a MOL photoalbum and we will send him ours. Are you sending
yours. I was turned myself in after suffering from breathlessness. I think
I noticed it sooner as we live on a hill and have to climb 45 steps on top
of that! Anyway, in Dec 1997,a chest x-ray showed a large accumulation of
fluid between the lining of the lung and the lining of the diaphragm. The
right lung was compressed. They drained some of the fluid in emergency and
took a sample of the fluid. The sample showed cancer cells, adenocarcinoma.
They drained most of the fluid over five days and sent me home. They did
blood tests, tumor markers, a D & C, laproscope examination of the abdomen
and biopsies, did a mammogram, ultrasound exams of the chest and abdomen
and also CT scans of the chest & abdomen. All were negative, meaning they
could not find a tumor to treat. This is very rare and bad news generally,
no tumor, no treatment. Second opinion concurred. The docs basically
decided to let me enjoy my life and if I showed any symptoms, they would
treat the symptoms but they were careful to point out that the disease was
"incurable". I trained as an R.N. so I knew where they were coming from so
we immediately went to see Dr Abram Hoffer and went on his protocol (mostly
vits and minerals), and then started on Essaic and other antioxidants. The
docs are still waiting and we are doing everything we can to ensure that
they wait a long time. We have done a lot of researching on this and have
used a number of oddball methods, such a seeing a Reiki master (she is a RC
nun). A complete change of diet, exercise (including Qi Gong), walking and
sauna every day, meditation and a lot of praying. I try to enjoy every day.
My last blood tests and x-rays were negative and tumor markers as well. The
docs say the disease is "not progressing and stable". It keeps me on my
toes so I am taking this opportunity to change to a healthier lifestyle.
Thank you for your interest.
