Hello once again,
Hope we all are having a fine day today!
I've got a filter on my email program, which sorts any email
with the word "Ross" into a special mailbox: "ToRoss." The
problem is, my email software isn't smart enough to allow me
to specify "whole words only." In this way, mail with the word
"gross," for example, gets filtered into my "ToRoss" mailbox.
One particularily annoying word is "across." Why in the world
would so many of you want to use the word "across?" Can't
you find a better word than "across?" Here are some beautiful
alternatives that I'd like you all to concider:
"athwart"
"transversely"
"contrariwise"
"over"
People: I'm sure there are many other fine words that could be
substituted for "across," so please, lets not be afraid to use them!
Thank you so very kindly for you KIND CONSIDERATION!!!!!!!
Ross
(LOL, I have to make sure you all understand that I'm kidding!)
