Oh my dear sweet heart.. I know that right now you are
hurting and I wish that I could give you a big hug and let you know that you are
loved by many and in our many prayers.. I am truly sorry to hear that your
father died. I hope that he did not have alot of pain and that you were
all able to share the love that I know you have, that will remain with you
forever as a light in your heart..
We all will die one day Dana and most people don't know
when. One of the really hard things about an illness like cancer is that
we do seem to know and face the reality of death in advance. There is a
blessing in this, I believe. We get a chance to say and do many of the
things that we want to do.. We get a chance to change our hearts and open them
to give more love and receive more. We get the chance to say I am sorry
and to let someone know that they are truly forgiven. We get the time to
only be what we truly are in our souls.. for we don't feel the need to impress
anyone anymore. We get to grow into beautiful souls in a short time and so
our families grow through this experience with us.
I pray that your father is in heaven safe in the arms
of the Lord. I know that he is without pain and he is surrounded by so
many other wonderful angels.. There will never be a day that you are
without your dad, Dana. He will always be in your heart, not only as a
memory, but also as a guide for you today...
I will miss you Dana.. You made a difference here on
the forum... Please drop by once in awhile and let us know how you
