Maybe I am missing something with all that has been going on but..quite
frankly, I don't feel like I need to "get in good with anyone" to get
results. While I will agree that secretaries bear the brunt of most of the
workload - they also get paid to do this and if they don't like their jobs,
then they should find another. If it is perceived that a secretary is
someone who can make or break a doctor/patient relationship then I find that
very disturbing. What happens if the secretary simply doesn't like you no
matter what you do? Perhaps I am being overly sensitive and I don't mean to
offend anyone but with everything else on my mind, I really don't have the
energy (or desire) to kiss the secretary's ____ (you know what). By the
way, I finally got the appointment at Memorial for 7/17 @ 10:00 am and the
secretary was still rude.....Cathy
