Re: [MOL] Essiac Tea

Dear Jeanne, and all,

First, Jeanne, that was a very brilliant reply and message of advice.

We all know that there isn't any one therapy or drug, or alternative or
conventional, at this point, that is a cure or control otherwise we
would all jump on the bandwagon, as many of us did, when we heard about
angiogenesis/endostatin for which we have much hope for as a possible
cure. But, Jeanne hit on something that we, at least Barb and I, found
out after pursuing so many alternatives and spending a slight fortune
during this journey, and that is "whatever works for you don't fight
success, stay with it and what doesn't work then drop off". We each are
so different that is why the various chemotherapies work for some and
not for others and some alternatives work for some and not for others.

OUr question to the nurses and Executive Director at Livingston
Foundation told us this about any alternative that has not been
federally approved that there may be reversing actions to them. In other
words if you are progressing well in your journey then take another
alternative therapy whether it be Essiac or shark cartilege (and there
are many types and not all from sharks) that the alternative may be
reversing the progress that you or others have attempted to succeed
with. I know that sounds negative, but that is what I was told. they had
tested some alternatives and found that to be reversing in survivors
that were progressing well. They did not say specifically essiac tea,
however. There comments to me was that the continued research goes on
about teas, and shark cartilege, etc before it can be used as an adjunct
in every, every person as a daily or part of the regimen of wellness,
say as does milk thistle, or co-enzyme q10, etc.

HOpe this helps, but if something is working for you, don't fight
success.

God Bless and thanks Jeanne
marty
