Hello, Mary, I took the tea soon after being diagnosed and along with a lot
of other vitamins and supplements all from a sheet from a health food store
that my daughter brought home. I also have acupuncture weekly and monthly
Reiki treatments from a Roman Catholic nun. My family is changing their
diet along with me. I walk every day. I also went on a 3 hour sweat lodge
ceremony and found I felt really great and because of this I started been
going to saunas daily. It helps the chest discomfort and scarring from the
chest drainage. I do visual imagery as well and try to "talk" to my body
about what I would like to happen. I read somewhere that if you don't know
where you are going how can you get there? It is not a demand to God but
more of affirming that you want to live. I allow myself a certain amount of
"daydreaming" to think about all the things I have yet to do. You must live
in a state of hope or fear will rule. Greg Anderson for one had one lung
removed and after a recurrence in the other lung was given thirty days to
live. This was in 1984 and he is still around. Marty knows him personally.
There are stories on the web of long time cancer survivors but I don't
search much on web myself. I mention all this again as you will never be
sure if the Essaic is helping by itself but if you are doing all you can to
give the body all the things to heal itself you can't go wrong. Faith in
whatever you are taking helps a lot. My oncologist knows I take Essaic tea,
green tea and other vitamins and herbs and she has honoured our request
that if it doesn't do any harm she will say nothing. My disease on last
checkup was considered "non-progressive and stable".
What is your husband's name by the way, give him our regards and we will
add you to our prayer list.
God Bless, Jeanne
