I just came home from the hospital. The surgery went well and although I am
sore and tired, I am feeling very fortunate that it was discovered so
early. I know the surgery is just the first step of the journey, but I am
thankful for the early detection. I am becoming increasingly aware of how
fortunate I am to have been having regular mamograms.
