The FDA and Janssen Pharmaceutica have strengthened warnings about
dangerous drug interactions with the heartburn drug Propulsid
(cisapride).
When used along with many common medications, Propulsid has reportedly
caused
serious heart rhythm disorders and even death. Doctors are also being
warned
not to give the drug to patients who are seriously ill with congestive
heart
