Dear Lillian, I can't seem to bring up all of your messages, just some.
So I hit the reply button and I see your msg. This has happened since I
joined a week or more ago. I thought it was just my computer. Any idea
why this is happening?
Yes, Long Beach still has their oil wells. Remember Signal Hill? Full of
them. And along the Pac. Coast Hwy. And out in the ocean on those
permanant barge type things. My dad worked for Nat'l Supply Co. of Armco
Steel and spent a lot of time at all the sites. He's a real special guy
and so supportive and so is Mom. They will have their party for 50 Ann.
years this Saturday. I'm pretty excited about that and having Rich come
home.
Where did you work in Lakewood? Remember the mall there? I used to take
accordian lessons at Al Kalie's Music Store. When I was 5 -9 years old.
Where do you live now? I graduated from Lakewood High School 30
years ago this year. My hubby went to our rival school Millikan. Boy
those were some fun times. Disneyland, Palm Springs, the beach, cruising,
drive-in movies. What a wonderful thing LIFE is. I still enjoy each
minute. I love learning new things. I take advantage of every
opportunity. Like meeting and talking with all of you. What a joy you
all are. Thanks so much for the uplifting words! I do feel better than a
week ago. I've learned soooo much on this list. And love reading all the
msgs. Rich seems a little depressed and I got to see the doctor this morn.
and he says, "He's fine, he's just been through a lot" I will be watching
Rich close for signs of depression as I know this is a possibility. Thanks
again! Love Vicci
