You have all given me a lot to think about. I find myself thinking that I
need to consult someone else, maybe an oncologist. Mastectomy if a very
permanent decision. It is not reversible. If I chose lumpectomy and it
doesn't put the cancer into remission the mastectomy is still an option.
The opposite is not true. This is too big a decision to make without more
input. I think I will spend next week checking things out.
I hope I am able to make the right decision, but I wonder if you ever
really know if you have.
