Re: [MOL] Lung Cancer-Prove them wrong Reply

Dearest Debbie,

I am somewhat late in this reply, pls excuse me as I have had server
problems and many e-mails to answer while when we returned from
vacation.

I just sent a reply to Mary as well as you, on MOl about the terminology
of "terminal and incurable" and the myths and falacies of these
meanings.

when any doctor uses these terms, it is then necessary to seek 2nd or
3rd opinions from those doctors who are aggressive and knowledgable
about treatments that will provide you with hope. These thoughts that
the doctors use or say is not condusive to wellness and since many base
our trust and belief in what doctors say, then say this, "Doc, today I
am living, tomorrow I will go on living and the next day and next and
while I am doing that I will find a doctor and treatment that will help
me have longer quality life and it will happen".

Pls do seek out other opinions. Go to those facilities that are on the
NCI's comprehensive list. Get their list of clinical trials and take
them with you for those opinions. Never give up hope, and I was told
that statistics do prove the majority of doctors wrong when they say
"terminal". How egotistical for anyone to say this when they just don't
know about life. I wonder how they would react if we were to say that to
them. I am certain they would take steps to prove us wrong as we prove
them wrong time after time. So I do believe in a sense when Doctors tell
us terminal, that gives many of us greater impetus to prove them wrong.
Pls do that Debbie, prove them wrong.

God Bless
marty auslander
