Re: [MOL] Ross

June,

In the first place, no I don't believe that you are bound by that prognosis.
In the second place, we JUST NOW had surprise visitors, very good
freinds of ours who have just survived cancer.

It was over a year ago, and she was told that she would never see
Christmas, which was only a few months away.  She went on to say
that she really liked her Doctor, who did lots of research and (according
to her) really knew her stuff, but referred her to a different Doctor who
had a lot of experience dealing with her type of cancer.  Immediately
the prognosis began to improve.

On her way out the door, she and her husband were remarking that
"who'd have thought we'd be water-skiing today?"  I remembered your
letter, and started to remark that its too bad she couldn't reply to you
personally, because her story is exactly what I'm talking about.  She
is so healthy today, you'd never guess what she had to go through.
She was very sick for a long time, but she has a lot to live for, and
she did.

I really don't believe there is a case of uncurable cancer today.  I think
that for every kind of cancer, there is a Doctor who believes that there
is a way to beat it.  To be absolutely sure, my strongest belief is that
we have a God in Heaven who is capable of any kind of miracle.  You
see them every day--testimonies from people who have survived in
spite of "impossible" odds.  I really don't think it is possible for a
Doctor to determine who will live and who will not, that isn't his job.

Love,
Ross
