Mom,
You and Rich are in my prayers. I don't know much about all of the medical
stuff, as my father's cancer is different, but I do understand your feelings.
Cancer is scary, and usually a shock to all involved. It is important that you
maintain a positive attitude, find good doctors that you and your son trust, and
have lots of Hope. They have so many new drugs and procedures now, that cancer
isn't as deadly as it once was. I think your questions are good ones, and you
might want to write down all of the other questions that pop into your head and
take them with you to the docs office and get them answered. I don't know if I
helped or not, but you have come to the right place. The people here have
become my second family, and they have helped me more than they will ever know.
