my heart and I felt compelled to answer - hope it helps.
The nature of Janice's illness is such that it does, many times, reappear
and that it just the way it is. My mother was diagnosed over eleven years
ago with similar and has gone through the regimen time and again. When
things were at the worst, she almost gave up and recalls being in a gurney
in the ambulance, pulled to the side of the road, while the paramedics tried
to get some kind of blood pressure from her. She remembers distinctly
saying to God that "I'm not ready to go" and made it through the episode.
Since then here attitude is so marvelous that no matter what happens, no
matter how depressing the news, no matter how uncertain her future looks,
she concentrates on the good things in life and remembers that she could
never be closer to death than she was three years ago. All I can say is
that a positive attitude and a resolve to not let this thing beat you is the
strongest medicine that I have ever seen.
Give Janice your strength and never stop encouraging good thoughts, a
positive attitude is the best medicine and she must preserve it.
