Hi all, I just called Lillian and her computer is still
on the blink, but she did put it in the shop today and is really hoping that it
could be repaired as early as tomorrow.. She is really suffering
from withdrawal from everyone...
I think she is a little worried about what I might say
about having met her in N. Carolina, but she was good and didn't say anything
while I was gone so I will wait until she returns as well... We had an
absolute ball together... She is alot of fun and it was good to spend time
together... You know typically we are all in a position to be one... One caregiver or one cancering
survivor and it can be lonely, for we are always trying to maintain a positive
persona.
To meet another cancering survivor is to be able to let
your heart and head hang out...totally, and it is good...
Now I do have pictures of Lil and I at the cabin and
they are developed...but I told her tonight that I would wait until she was back
first... There will be much more joy for all if she can respond and get
her two cents worth in...!! By the way, I didn't cover my mouth because
she was catholic.....there was something else she forgot about that
conversation!! LOL!!
John the article you posted is one that I will have to read over and over
again to be sure that I have examined it from all sides, lest I judge too
harshly.... Sally, I see that you have been able to read it and allow it
to reach inside and share so deeply with us... I truly appreciate what you
and Charlie are going through my friend...
I still have many messages to get through..I went to a herb sale this
afternoon, then to the health food store and then hit all 3 bookstores again...
Oh I do love when I get to do that.. I was introduced to a new author
while I was gone and wanted to pick up some of her books.. Her name is
Louise Hay. She also has some tapes out and I bought one of those...
She is very good..
There is so much about my trip that I would like to share and I am sure
that I will with time... I haven't even unpacked and I am to be at the
County convention at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow so I can't stay up too much
later... Please know that care very much and am glad to be back with
you...
Sally, please give Betty my best...I do pray that she gets to be a part of
the trial.... I hope that Charlie gets his wheel chair and you get out for
a little while atleast... I know now how good leaving the house walls can
be for your soul...
