Dear Diane,
I believe Cindy CRowe who is a great contributor and caregiver to this
list has similar concerns with her hubby Jim, although I don't believe
the metastasis is to the brain. I will cc her a copy and maybe she can
help you further.
Some suggestions:
1-Call the National Cancer Institute at 1-800-4cancer and seek a 2nd and
third opinion if necessary. They will provide you, free of charge,
information about the disease, names of comprehensive hospitals for 2nd
opinions. Etc.
2-Pls get her into a good support group that will provide you and her
with information and ideas to beat this disease.
3-Read the many books on positive healing by authors such as Dr. Bernie
Siegel, Greg Anderson, Dr. Carl Simonton. I am certain you all will
benefit by their experiences of seeing miracles and long term survivors.
God Bless
