Re: [MOL] Hi!

Dear Emmett,

As you've probably noticed from your reading, you have come into a safe
harbor, where you will be encouraged, challenged and advised by some of
the dearest souls I've had the honor to meet. There are others on this
forum who will be better able than I to advise you, but as a breast
cancer survivor, I do know the shock of getting a cancer diagnosis. I
think everyone reacts differently, and part of the journey is
self-discovery; this disease changes you in may ways. For me, it's been
a spiritual journey, a refiners' fire, stripping away alot of things I
thought were important but aren't. I keep a journal, and that has helped
me to focus and keep things in perspective, while also letting me vent.
The thing that has helped me most has been a deep faith -- it has also
led me to deal with the disease in a little different way, and if that's
something you'd like to explore more, let me know. In the meantime,
Emmett, know that you and your family will be in my prayers. Blessings,
Joicy
