Dear Debbie,
dcomstock@infoave.net
Just some suggestions:
Pls seek a second opinion. Some great information to come out of the Los
Angeles conference and much more information about melanoma treatments.
You may wish to call the National Cancer Institute at 1-800-4cancer for
3 comprehensive hospitals in your area to seek those opinions. NOw you
didn't name the hospital in which your Brother (I believe it is your
brother) in and that may be a comprehensive hospital, but even then I
would seek 2nd and possible 3rd opinions. Get a copy of all medical
records including pathology, radiology reports and biopsy slides.
Also I would call Dr. Robert Nagourney out of Long Beach CAl. as his
success rate is quite high. He was at the conference as well. He is a
technician/clinician oncologist and takes fresh biopsy tissue and slices
it into many pieces and tests them against all of the chemos and
combinations available to see which react to the tissue for cure.
Also I would suggest you call either the Livingston Foundation in San
Diego or Health Quarters in Colorado Springs, col or Dr. Walter Crinnion
in Bellevue Wash for possibility of a comprehensive alternative
treatment program and that can be given in conjunction with conventional
although they would not recommend it. But I believe his immune system
needs to be detoxified and reboosted through immune therapy. That is
just my opinion.
Sounds like he has a number of complications which is immune system
related.
take care and pls keep coming back. We may be able to offer more.
God Bless
marty
