Dana,
My husband sleeps about 19-23 hours a day. He uses a stool in the shower
because he can not stand long enough without exhaustion. And I have to
really press him to do that as even the thought of the shower tires him. He
is young (43), but having a very agressive treatment ( actually this latest
is a new treatment for a 2nd tumor). Although it is hard as hell to watch,
it is a by product of the chemo, and your bod is repairing while sleeping.
Also, we welcomes the chemo with open arms. You must embrace and believe in
the treatment. It makes you feel like sh**, but it is working to kill
cancer so it must be embraced. The book Carla mentioned is the best of it's
kind, IMHO (In my humble opinion)....
Oh well, that's my 2 cents!
Sally
