Thanks, Les.  The kids really enjoyed seeing the kites, too.  And there
was a small plane there pulling a marriage proposal behind it.  Tom
speculated that it might just be a promotional thing and there may have
been no real proposal.  But it was fun just to imagine!

I think I'll sleep well tonight.  Even though Tom did all of the driving
(his fault for betting stick shift!), I'm starting to tire out now.  I'll
miss my pillow, though.  I accidentally left it behind.  Oh well, better
to have one less-favorite pillow than none at all, huh?  Actually, it's
better for my back to sleep without any pillow at all. LOL

I sure missed everyone while I was away, but I think I needed the break. 
The only message I saw from Annie when I got back was that she has been
eating out frequently with a friend.  I take that as good news.
