My dad received the results of his scan on Thursday, remember the cancer was
in his lungs, surrounding lymph nodes and bones (sternum) and the right
temporal lobe of his brain. The scan showed that everything was clear
except for his lungs and the cancer there had been reduced by half! That
was the only thing they could find! The doctors say it is nothing less than
miraculous!
My dad took a pile of e-mail messages that I had printed out for him to show
to the doctors. He told them he had people all over the world praying for
him and he was surprised that they could find any cancer at all on the scan
(cocky, isn't he?). He will get 3 more chemo treatments and that will be
it. Remember, he has yet to have any side effects from the chemo. Well, he
says he has been craving sweets lately, but he always does that!
Dad and I would like to thank each and every one of you that have said a
prayer or sent good wishes his way, it has made a difference. He still has
a ways to go so keep him in your prayers--we have the wonderful beginnings
of a miracle that I would like to see completed.
