Re: [MOL] Sally to Betty

Yes, Betty, my husband does go to MDA.

He participated in a clinical trial there for advanced squamos cell
carcinoma of the head and neck.

Monday morning I will call his research nurse and ask her if she has any
advice on how to get through to Dr.Patt (or is it Pratt-let me know his/her
full name). This nurse specializes in head and neck radiation oncology, but
she may have a tip or two on how to circumnavigate the b.s. and actually get
through. Friday, there was a big lecture and conference there, I noticed as
I went to the pharmacy. Not that it is an excuse.

I know in the head and neck dept., I hear and see Candy returning calls and
getting the Drs. on the phone to people calling from around the world. My
limited experience is that they have been very helpful.

Did you go to their internet site? The doctor you are trying to reach may
have email, and I'll sure his department does. Regarding the waiter comment,
Charlie told me he knows why they call him a patient. He need patience to
be a patient.

Let me know the full name and I will try to help if I can.

Sally Tilson

Do you get medical care at MDA?
Have you heard of a Dr. Patt. I tried to call Friday and had to leave
info for them to call me. If anybody asks what my profession is I am
going to say waiter.
Have spent the last 2 mos. waiting on doctors to call.
Betty

have a good day
