Re: [MOL] Vitamin C causes cancer ????!!!!!!????

Dear JJenkins,

I have been in constant touch with NBC and the Vitamin C Foundation. By
the way the rebuttal may be found on the website vitamincfoundation.org

The message you heard was this. That there was a British study taken of
30 healthy men and women for about 2 months that concluded that
medadoses of vitamin c was not beneficial to cures or controls of
certain diseases including cancer. The rebuttal to that is...the test
was never replicated, it was performed over a very short period of time
and with people who are minimal amount and healthy.

There have been literally hundreds of studies over the past 20 years to
conclusively indicate the benefits derived from vitamin C. Now as for
megadoses, one must listen to what their body tells them as there is a
plateau in which one can tolerate any medicince, conventional or
altenative. But the NBC message that aired, as usual like any other
soundbyte, was to promote the interests of those watching. Conversely
NBC promoted a program last night that was extraordinarily beneficial
bout vitamin c and other vitamins. The mentioned that the most famous of
all exisging scientists will be at a conference in Los Angeles in two
weeks, which I hope to be present, (I am not a scientist but have
interest in cancer cures) that will meet on the new breakthrus to
cancer. I will post here as to their findings. I would be most reassured
if you read the vitamin C foundation rebuttal as to the explanation of
that most disheartening soundbyte. NBC should be ashamed of themselves
for taking hope away from those that benefit by this vitamin and ashamed
of themselves for taking the goals away from those scientists like Linus
Pauling who spent his life providing information that was so beneficial
and useful to many of us, millions of us who add vitamin c in their
regimen, daily, for health and benefits to many diseases, cancer and the
common cold.

HOpe this helps.

God Bless
