John,  It is my personal opinion that a second opinion is always called for
before you let someone cut on any part of your body...
Think about it, no matter how much you like your doctor...  I almost went to
surgery without a second opinion and it was on a third that I found a
surgeon with a totally different procedure that no one had told me
existed.....  Good luck in making your decision, but I think you know what
