[MOL] More on foods, and supplements

Marty, I love reading your messages, I am beginning to think that a day
without Marty is like a day without sunshine. (you may blush!) You must be
so self-depreciating because your mother bragged about you so much!
Please emphasize again that I do not expect supplements alone to cure me of
cancer but rather it is one weapon in the arsenal of cancer fighters. I
always take my supplements with food (only the best) spread out about 5
times a day if possible. Lots of water is essential.
Marty, I hated carrot juice by the way but adding beet to it makes it seem
smoother. Don't know if anyone has mentioned this but eating the whole
veggie (pulp) must be better than drinking just the juice. There a lot of
nutritients in the skin of fruits and veg. This reminds me of an
embarrasing moment in our married lives. We were invited to a pot-luck and
I made potato salad, leaving on the skins. We were the only ones eating it!
Our dinner was a meal with chicken, (skin off or on as long as you don't
eat it) baked in the oven along with potatoes (low fat sour cream is great)
and squash and a big salad with romaine, spinach, kale, cuc, carrot,
cauliflowers, tomatoes or any veg we can find in the frig. We use low cal
salad dressings or make our own. We often cook brown rice this way,
seasoned with herbs or onion.

Marty, I will add milk thistle to the above.

Thanks for the note on vitamin C, very encouraging. By the way, I still am
feeling the need for a nap as what with all the water, I am up 3 to 4 times
a night but still drinking another glass each time.
God Bless, Jeanne K
