The message I got from my Dr. was that chemo is not very effective
period. He is the head of the onc dept. at the University
of New Mexico and a highly respected surgeon. However, i am not sure how
much he knows about chemo. He is so busy I think he doesn't have the
time to
look for treatment for me. I am glad to hear that Mavis is with a Dr.
that is more liberal thinking. BTW I have had a lot of my liver
regenerate. I would think a younger person would do even better than I
have. I will be keeping your family in my prayers.
