I am 64 but young at heart. My Dr. here has never mentioned the stage.
In Feb. he told my family 6mos. He just told me to get my affairs in
order and make the best of my time. He is a surgeon and does not believe
chemo will help. Well, I have decided to find out. Instead of getting my
affairs in order, I am getting my summer clothes ready for a trip to PA-
Ohio and Iowa. In June I have an appt. at M D Anderson. I feel better
than I did in Feb.
There is no way I will just give up. You probably have seen milk thistle
mentioned. I take it and try to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. I
have always been a high energy person and I am still pretty active. I
would have answered sooner but I was out playing bridge all afternoon..
