I read the article in today's New York Times: "A cautious awe greets drugs
that eradicate tumors in mice." The article describe how two drugs,
angiostatin and endostatin, succeeded in eliminating tumors in mice.

I was wondering if you might have heard when these drugs will be performed
on humans?

And if the drugs are available in other countries besides the U.S.??

Any other sources of information and hope would be appreciated. Please
e-mail me at: mypetals@msn.com

Thank you very much.

P.S. My brother, who's 26 and lives in South Africa, was diagnosed November
1997 with a sarcoma attached to his abdominal wall. He has secondaries in
his lungs and liver and is receiving chemotherapy every three weeks. The
latest CT scan, taken May 1998, does not show much change.
