I believe that during the next few days, some more information will be made
available that may somehow slow down the enthusiasm. BTW, in the paper version
of the article Judah Folkman states that there is no endo or angiostatin
currently manufactured or available for trials. Hopefully those articles will
bring the necessary funds to his lab to produce enough compounds for a phase I
trial.
Judah Folkman made a presentation at the last ASH meeting, a few months ago. He
described their experiments to start, stop and restart the growth of tumors IN
MICE with the help of compounds produced in his lab.
We also have a mailing list dedicated to discussions on angiogenesis.
Unfortunately it has never started. I'm quite sure that this week will see the
first real exchange on it. If it happens, I'll let this list know of what
transpires.
