My dear brother,
I just had to say how very impressed I am with the depth of your
knowledge concerning the workings of the human body. Many would not
think of the cause and effect relationship that exists with all aspects
of human anatomy...including psychological. Sadly, that statment applies
to some physicians as well as to the rest of us. If only they...the
medical profession...would give us some credit for intelligence and
explain what will be happening to our bodies during treatments of any
kind...surgical, chemo, radiation or drugs. For everything we put into
or subject our body to there is going to be a reaction...the trick is to
be sure that what you are doing will have a positive reaction.
The pizza I'm eating right now is a healthy snack...fiber, licopiene in
to tomatto sauce and protien in the cheese. However, the sausage I have
on top only satisfies the taste buds and psychological sense of
fulfillment while adding God only knows how much animal fat, microbes and
bacteria (ever wonder what goes into sasuage?) for the body to cope with.
So, you see, life is always about trade off, comprimise, and choices!
Diana was absolutely right many months ago when she clearified the issue
of "best" for me. "Best" and "only" do not fit into our vocabulary any
more than "no hope" and "only X days to live". But, in making those
choices, those trade offs, that comprimise, we should have a clear
understanding of what we are trading off, comprimising away, or choosing
to ignore. That is why I am so very proud of you, my brother, for
providing the information, the light of knowledge on an important
subject. I only wish you lived next door so you could provide the same
guidance to my three compulsive, head strong, quick to temper as they are
quick to blame Mr. I. Dontknow daughters! LOL
God Bless You Marty and thank you for your contributions.
John
