Re: [MOL] Skin Cancer Vaccine in final testing stage

Thanks Marty, my inlaws are due in any minute. I must have a real paranoia
bout people. I probably worry more than I should. The info you added if
great and appreciated. I hate to admit that I feel overwhelmed and unable
to research any further. I just feel unable right at this moment, I really
should follow through on what you say. Hopefully I will have better energy
Monday. Thanks for your help, I feel badly imposing on you cause you try to
help so many. I do need to find someone that will let Bob start with the
vaccine and have not been able to determine yet who that might be, I will
make the phone calls Monday. I feel like I am running out of time, and I
guess I do feel like giving up. His mental ability is diminishing and that
breaks my heart. He is such a smart man and he knows he can't process
mentally like he could even two days ago. I mean everyday it is noticeable
lately. I am freaked to be honest, and even though you told me who to call
and how, I just feel like a basket case right now. I just want to go in a
hole and die. I just almost cannot deal with this. I wish I had the luxury
of giving up. Cause that's what I want to do. I just want to not exist. I
don't care about heaven right now, I just don't want to go to "hell". So I
am afraid to do anything but stay here in this earthly plane that holds
nothing but either bittersweet happiness or terrible pain. Well, that's
just how it is for now.

Dear Susan,

The article stated in its entirety what I had written, but my suggestion
would be to call the Food and Drug Administration to see what
facilities have been allotted to start using. I have experienced with
other clinical trials that there are a number of hospitals and doctors
willing to take that step one step further, for instance maybe in your
hubbbys case. Its just a matter of calling and researching. Don't give
up on this....there must be a facility that will help. YOu may also wish
to call the N.C.I. once again and tell them about the article and see if
they will help you locate a facility that is administering this vaccine.
I have known of cases in advanced cancer diseases, not really sure about
melanoma though, where new drugs were being administered. YOu may wish
to call Fountain Valley Regional Cancer Center in Fountain valley, Ca.
I know of a great oncologist who is very aggressive with treatment. His
name is Dr. Glen Justice. NOt certain of the phone number, but they
are affiliated with University of Southern California who is on the
N.C.I. comprehensive list of hospitals.

HOpe this helps, if not come back to me and I will keep trying for you.

Hope you now believe I am your friend, :)

God Bless
