Thanks, Claire. I think I'm going to send your e-mail (via snail mail,
unfortunately) to my mom for her reaction. I know that she, as well as
I, was surprised that the doctor recommended that she wait & have
another mammogram done. That's when she sought out a second opinion and
that doctor told her the same thing! I don't understand it. Seems like
you'd move quickly if there's any risk it's cancer.
Anyway, I'll send this to her. Although, I sort-of doubt she'll do
anything more until May 9th, knowing Mom. And she won't be thrilled
that I told anyone about this, but I feel it's important to share the
situation so we can get feedback from others who have been through it.
Of course, I haven't told my brothers - per her wishes.
