Welcome to the mol forum. I'm sorry about Joe's dx. There are lots of
wonderful people on the forum that will give you support, suggestions,
and experiences with you while you and Joe are fighting this battle.
CUP (Cancer of Unknown Primary) I believe that is what they call
Joe's dx. I believe either M D Anderson or Memorial Sloan Kettering
may be conducting some clinical trials for this.
This was discussed recently, so MOLERS, give us some help here.
You can also call NCI at 1-800-4-cancer and ask them for any and
all information that might help you, including clinical trials, Dr's
in your area that are familar with this. Johns Hopkins should be
an excellent hospital.
Have they discussed treatment? Would Joe be getting the treatment
at J.H. or are you there just for the tests?
Please know you will get lots of support and help from the forum.
Let us know as much as you can. You and Joe will be in my thoughts
and prayers.
