What treatments has the Dr recommended? Have you talked with the
NCI 1-800-4-cancer? They can give you information re current treatments,
clinical trials, locations, Dr's in your area with knowledge of dx.
Please let us know if we can help in anyway. The treatments vary
from Dr to Dr and patient to patient.
My brother has NSCLC adenocarcinoma of the lungs. Stage 3b.
His treatment since dx, 3/97 has been radiation and chemo. The
chemo combination was Cisplatin/Navelbine. I have noticed a lot
of different chemo combinations for the same dx.
Please let us hear from you again and I'm sure you will hear from
others on this forum. Lots of information, support and discussions
re conventional and alternative treatments.
