My mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in January. It has
metastasized to her
intestines, ureter, and diaphragm. They called it stage III. She is
undergoing chemotherapy now. She was not able to take the Taxol as she
had an allergic reaction. I don't know what they have her on now. She
has been in the hospital a lot due to her white blood count dropping to
as low as 100. I need for someone to tell me what the long term
prognosis is? One year, two, five? I can't get a straight answer. I
hope you can help me.
