[MOL] Lillian and weight gain

Lillian, I was so happy to hear from you. Your description of what you
look like following the use of steroids put a smile on my face. I think we
must be twins and didn't know it!!! I don't worry about it too much, but
every once in awhile I remember what it was like to be a size 12 and am a
little jealous. But, I am alive and that's what is important. I thought
Carla's description of the Beach Bunnies was good too. When we went to
Hawaii a few summers ago, I remember feeling the same way. Then not only
was I over weight but BALD too. I finally got to the point that I'd never
see these people again and if they didn't like what I looked like that was
their problem not mine! I just hit the beach with the best of them! I
think part of my problem is that I am almost afraid to loose weight. You
hear of cancer patients having so much trouble with weight lose that I
don't want that to be my problem, too. We just found out that our younger
son is engaged and will be getting married June, 1999. Now I have a goal
to remain healthy and try to loose some weight at the same time. Well,
thanks for responding. It's always nice to hear from people with similar
problems. That way it's not quite so lonely! Mary Ann
