[MOL] Alive and kicking, but nolt too high.

Hi Lillian, Susan, Carla, Marty, Jennifer, John and everyone. I have been off
the MOL net for awhile and occasionally get some notes form some of you.
Thanks and I appreciate that.

To catch up on my absence: My brother-in-law is holding his own. That is
good for someone who was supposed to die 35 days ago. No one has told him of
that prognosis and it seems to be for the best. If he had asked me, I would
have sent him to my sister, his wife. There is a level of meddling that even
I will not exceed.

So, he is stable, the gemcitabine is not reducing any of the tumors and the
Onc seems to be bush league. She did not even compare his last catscan with
any of the previous ones. AAARRRRGG!!!

The Onc just read the radiologist's report to my sister without comparing it
with any of the previous. She didn't even notice that the radiologist failed
to report on the mass encompassing his pancreas. It is this mass that started
the whole dance. I told my sister to fire this Onc and get with Joel Picus at
Wash Univ in St. Louis, Mo.

Has anyone tried the Noni juice or the China #1? They seemed to me to fall
into the category of "IF IT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE ... "

I hope some folks are trying some of these advant-garde items so they can tell
the rest of us about it.

Carla, it must be about time for you to get back to the Doc and see what has
happened over the past two months. Peace, happiness and best of luck to you
Carla !

A lot of you are really neat and I miss the dialogs, but had found them to be
too much of an addiction, it was taking up so much time ... so bowed out for
awhile.

Do significantly miss some of the zingers from Lillian, Carla, Marty, John,
and Jennifer, I still owe you one.

Susan, you are really a neat writer of stuff. It seems so personal without
becoming maudlin and I am sure the rest of the crowd is as tense for you as I
am watching your saga unfold.

You are quite an assett to life young lady and your Bob is one hell of a lucky
guy to have someone like you.

Hope to see your positive attitude and common sense set the standard for what
we can do on this net.

Same has been the case with Carla and Lillian and some of the others who have
even gone so far as to shove some of my smart alec remarks back down my
keyboard a few months back.

Way to go Sue, Carla, Lillian et-al. How come I do not see such good things
on a regular basis from the fellas? Maybe it was there and I missed it.
Maybe we are too tough to let it all out. What would John Wayne think if we
cut into the ladies' turf?

Well, I am bowing out again. Lillian, you had asked if I am still around and
will I be back.

Thanks Lillian. I thought no one cared. Kidding.

To all of you, thanks for being who and how you are. It has been great and
I'll stop by from time to time and I do wish everyone the best. Yep, still
intend to walk along side youse in September in Washington D.C.

How is Barbara Silverman? I hope she gets some of the breaks she deserves !

Take care ya'll.

Very Respectfully, your friend, Bob Sommer .... aka VR Bob.
