Pls take heart and note of some things that may provide you with some
support and postive help. There is a misnomer about staging. Stage IV is
more meant to mean to the physicians and oncologists as to distance a
metastasis has traveled from the primary tumor, which of course is
difficult to learn and realize, but rather than how long one has
remaining in their life. Many stage IV diagnosis are long time
survivors.
I have a very real problem that I have read many posts here from those
in despair because they were told of a short term prognosis, when in
reality that prognosis not only turns out to be false, but not based on
fact. So, I will be more than glad to place you in the hands of a many
phone numbers of those survivors that will provide support and
encouragement. Pls be assured that there is plenty of time to research,
to seek support, and know that the importance to seek other very
professional opinions and keep coming back to this forum as there will
be many to provide information to you as well as learning about the many
alternative treatments you are seeking.
Pls know that the reality for rebuilding your Uncles immune system is to
take all the medical records to a very good Naturalpath or holistic
doctor in your area so that they can suggest and provide a specialized
immune therapy program for your Uncle. There are many very good
institutions in the United States that have programs to revitalize the
immune system and I will be more than glad to share that with you.
i would call the National Cancer Institute at 1-800-4cancer and learn
more about your Uncles disease and they will also provide you with names
and phone numbers to seek 2nd opinions here in the U.S. and while you
are doing that, you may wish to seek the alternative clinics that I
mentioned above. That way you are covering both bases. Should you need
