[MOL] Re: Cheryl

Cheryl,

What type of lung cancer do you have?? My husband, Jim, has small cell lung
cancer.
If that is the type of lung cancer you have, I may have some info for you
and definately stories to tell!!

Yes, you are in the right place. This group will give you friendship, love,
support, information, listen to you vent when you have had a bad day or are
angry it what life has dealt you, basically anything you need, someone here
will be able to help. I've never been around a group of people so willing
to give of their time and emotions. You will, if you have not already
heard, hear from many and they can all become good friends of yours.

If you would like to talk more, please send email to me at my private
address:

    ccrowe@msn.com

Right now, I'm caught up in a project, and only scan quickly through the MOL
messages as my time is occupied elsewhere but I do stop everything and read
all private email sent to me.

I want you to know that my heart, love and prayers are with you. Please
write to me and let me know what type of lung cancer it is that you have and
how you are doing. Keep a positive attitude, chemo, while still having some
side-effects on some people, is not nearly as bad as it used to be. Also,
you did not mention anything about the possibilities of surgery or
radiation. Let me know what/if your doctor plans to do on this. And, last
piece of advise for the day!!!!, if you have any questions your dr. doesn't
answer for you or, if you are not 100% trusting in him/her, get a second
opinion. You've got to be able to trust your dr. (you are, after all,
placing your life in his/her hands)!

Your new friend,

Cindy
