>Hi Cheryl:
My name is Darlene and I have Broncialaviolar carcinoma. I have had 2
treatments of Chemo that sound like what your are taking every 21 days.
After the first treatment about 2 weeks my hair fell out. I got a wig
through the Cancer foundation in Tuolumne County. I have never smoked or
been subjected to smoke in the household and have been told this is the
nonsmoking cancer women
primarily get. This is a nice group here and all messages go on everyones email
address and you can pick and choose what you want to read. Because the
treatment takes so long I take a book, some hand games and you could take
puzzles if you like to do them. Also, I have thought of a headset and to listen
to tapes.
2 and 1/2 years ago they removed the lower left lung and said they believed
I was cancer free. I believe it has been continuing and it is now in both
of what lungs I have left and spine and right thigh bone and lymph nodes. I
have a cough that won't quit and pain in my lungs and lymph nodes. The
tingling in my hands are from the chemo and so is an allergy rash. At times
I can hardly walk
because my hips and legs don't want to work.
Am I happy? You bet. I go in for a ct scan this week and am looking
forward to hearing them say, we are beating the beast.Write me a note and
tell me about your cancer and treatment and how you feel about it./ Darlene
