Evidently this is a cancer that starts in the adrenal gland and spreads
rapidly with mets to lungs, etc. Three years ago Lizabeth had an
adrenal tumor that was encapsulated. They removed it with outlying
tissue and "SAID" it wasn't malignant. They (the doctors) didn't
prescribe any follow up treatment...no chemo, radiation, etc. This past
December she was diagnosed with "adrenalcortical carcinoma". It is
extremely, extremely rare (aren't they all?) and we have found little or
no topics related to this particular type. I'll dig up my original
information and find the sites and forward them to you as soon as I find
them.
