I would ask the Dr's about the shots. My brother has to have them every
three or four weeks because of chemo.
He gets 3 or 4 nueprogen shots for white and normally 3 for red Epogin (sp)
I understand that there is also a shot to help bring the platlet count up,
which is new to me and would like more information on that also.
I understand that the above shots actually sped up the production of the
white and red counts.
Hopefully others on forum can give you additional information.
My thoughts are with you and your family.
