[MOL] Re:

Dear Jorie: Many on the MOL line feel that MD Anderson is the best facility
in your area. I have attatched a list of where you can call to acquire the
information needed. First call NCI and ask specificaly if their is some
kind of fund set up for children who can not afford hospitalization. I
would also suggest that you sister may be able to get madicad, if she is in
the poverty level (16,000) and under gross income and food stamps to get
them on their feet. I would then call MD Anderson Hos. and get all the
information you can, plus do ask if they have an endowment fund that would
pay for the medical bills. The American Cancer society just recently stated
that they help with medical bills for cancer. It may be that you will have
to get funding from several sources in order to cover such expenses. I pray
I have been of help to you, Sincerely, Lillian. Should you have more
questions; just ask.
