I hate using or talking about statistics because they tend to take away
hope and many times are degrading when trying to get well. But if you
have to believe in a statistic, believe in this...that there are two
sides to statistics. No reason why your Sister is not on the positive
side of that 30%. There had to be people that made up that 30%,, no
reason why your sister can't be one.
Pls be assured that if you call the N.C.I. at 1-800-4cancer they will
provide you with all the information you are seeking in terms of
conventional therapy and definitions and treatments and names of
comprehensive hospitals in your area that you may wish to seek 2nd
opinions and one of which I recommend very highly.
There are also great facilities you may wish to seek in terms of
alternative treatmens you are seeking. I can discuss with you in private
e-mails if you wish.
I am certain there are mnay here that will provide you much more info
than I have offered.
