[MOL] Gwen, Noni Juice, Essiac

Gwen,

Going through my email, I am now finding the emails about the Noni Juice.
They are very interesting--and I will be trying to learn more about them! I
will be contacting Rich for more information in the very near future. Thank
you so much for pointing this out for me!

As for my Oncologist not being in favor of Essiac, my personal opinion is
that he is kind of narrow-minded. He also advised me not to research too
much on the Net because one couldn't be sure of the sources of the
information. So, although I respect his education and take his advice about
taking chemotherapy, I am not overly sensitive to his opinions on
alternative
treatments. To tell the truth, I don't even see him very much any more. I
live
quite a ways from my main hospital, and he has assistants who travel to my
rural location. When I get a chance though, I'll certainly ask him again
why
he does not recommend Essiac.

He did say that he thought there were some neurotoxins in Essiac (or one of
the herbs in Essiac) which would somehow interfear the effectiveness of my
chemotherapy--as my cancer is in my brain. So I gave him that much credit,
chemotherapy being his specialty and me not knowing a single thing about
it. My feeling is that everything is going fine. I'm scheduled for an MRI
pretty
soon, if we find out that things are out of control and the cancer is not
acting
"as it should" under treatment, then I'll be running his advice through a
more
finely-grained filter.

Did you read "The Essiac Report?" If not, I'd think you would be interested
in it.
It has about 100 pages of history and background, and about 100 pages of
testimonials and documents which help to support the claims of the author.
